Here is a Sales Flyer Jeep CJ-3B 1960.
Yep! The 3B was still on the line even if the CJ-5 was available at that time. They was usually named the High Hoods. It’s basically a CJ-3A with the new F-Head hurricane engine in it. They had to raise the hood and front grill by 4 inch to fit the new engine in it. It’s a “You like or Don’t like”.
Here is a Sales Flyer Jeep Station Wagon Maverick 1959.
It was available only with 2WD but has the Super Hurricane engine option! This RED wagon was introduced on television as a “Maverick” Special. It is quite different from the 1960 station wagon, the trim was not the same at least.
Here is a Sales Flyer Jeep Panel Delivery 1959.
I don’ t know how many they sold. I’d prefer to take the 4WD with the Super Hurricane engine.
Here is a Sales Flyer Jeep Forward Control FC-150 1960.
I really like the flat nose style truck. They fitted the Hurricane engine into those small beast. Wow! And what’s about that grill.
Sales Flyer 1959 DJ-3A Surrey “Gala”.
Here is a flyer about the DJ-3A Surrey. I don’t know yet why it’s not called “gala”. I’m used to see it as DJ-3A Surrey Gala. It has the L-Head engine “Go-Devil” from the wartime even 14 years later.
Here is two sheets showing the dimensions and specifications of the complete line jeep of 1959.
The line had CJ-5, CJ-6, still the DJ-3A and CJ-3B at that time, the station wagon, the utility wagon, the panel delivery, the jeep pick-up truck, the forward control FC-150 and FC-170.
Here is an original Sales Flyer of a 1959 CJ-5 Jeep Willys.
It advertised the new “Universal” Jeep with the F-head Hurricane engine.
…To millions of people all over the world "JEEP" means WILLYS…
